2022 Season
Our President this year was John Rich and our Club Captain Mitch Jones
We started by playing a game Ladies v Gents, what a lot of fun we had, we even had a Hotshot, certificates applied for !!
Then after the game we had a 3 course meal, curtesy of Ray and Tony and it was delicious, especially the Apple Pie.
Speeches’ from the Captains followed by presentations of the Winning an Runners up Cups, unfortunately, not everyone was available to receive them, so only a few photos to enjoy.
Final Day photos can be found of all who took part under the Club Match section.
We ended with a presentation of our presidents charity, £2223.41 was raised for the Hampshire & Isle of Wight Air Ambulance.
Thanks from President John to you all that helped out through the year and of course those that played in the matches.

2021 Season
Our President this year was Kay Ward and Club Captain Mitch Jones
Kay carried on her presidency into this year due to the Covid Pandemic for 2020.
As you can see the Trophy Winners below that was presented but again no Pictures as a Captain’s and Presentation Day was not held
Also congratulations to Julie Wilson and the Ladies E team for winning promotion to Div 2 in their inaugural year
2020 Season
Our President for this year was Kay Ward and Club Captain Mitch Jones
This was a rather unusual year due to the Covid Pandemic and only a few competition games were played.
No trophy presentation day, however the winners of the Mens and Ladies Championships were played
The Winners were Rachael Oland and Travis Meller

2019 Season
Our President this year was Carol Jones and Club Captain was Steve Gallop
Congratulations to all Trophy Winners and especially to the
Ladies D team who won promotion to the 1st Division

2015 Season
Brian Cullum – Shanklin Bowls Club President 2015/16
I have said on many occasions that the year as president of Shanklin Bowls Club was one of my most proudest and memorable years.
The club has always had success with competitions but a club is also a social hub for friendship and enjoyment, this was my experience.
With the committee on board and external funding we made changes to the club environment by providing a mower shed adjacent to the green,
security system for the clubhouse, trophy cabinets within the Millennium room, new main notice boards and book shelving,
a club website, table decorations (still used today!) and funding to support Travis Mellor playing for his country in China.
I am sure I speak for past and present Presidents that it is a privilege to be elected into this office at such a prestigious club.
From pictures of President’s day and Captains day you can see the enjoyment on members faces which is what the club is about and long may it continue.
